Retired bank executive. Married with 3 adult children, 4 grandchildren & a dog.I live in Hobart, capital city of beautiful, scenic Tasmania. My hobbies are bush walking & fishing which I am managing to combine with my renewed interest in photography following first a purchase of an Olympus 8080 and more recently an Olympus E510. Learning to construct furniture as needed for our family. Enjoying tango dancing. Taking a keen interest in kayaking. My wife and I also travel extensively.

3Rs - National Park - Waterfalls : Due to inclement weather,what started out as climbing the Needles ended in a circuit of some of the waterfalls in National Park. We first visited Barron Falls, then Russell followed by Horseshoe Falls. Morning tea was taken at Passion in New Norfolk whilst afternoon tea was at the Possum Shed at Westerway. A very overcsat day with areas of drizzle and showers. We managed to escape both while walking.
